Arabic text to speech, answered
Is the Arabic text to speech free?
You get $5 of credit when you sign up, with no card — 100,000 characters at $0.05 per thousand. After that you pay for what you generate, with no subscription.
Which Arabic dialect do the voices speak?
Gulf Arabic. nutq-speak-1 is a Gulf Arabic model, so a Gulf script is read the way a Gulf speaker would say it.
Can I clone my own voice?
Yes. In the studio, upload or record a few seconds of clear speech and nutq-speak-1 speaks new text in that voice. Only clone a voice you have the right to use.
Can I download the audio?
Yes. Every result downloads as a WAV file.
How long can the text be?
500 characters on this page, and 5,000 per generation in the studio. Longer scripts go in parts.
Does it speak other languages?
Yes: English (US and UK), Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Japanese and Chinese, each with trained voices. Cloning is for Arabic.
Is there an API?
Yes. POST your text to /v1/speech with your key and the audio comes back. Same voices, same price.
